Hayden Duggan, Ed.D. graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Public Practice from the Harvard School of Education in 1977. He is a licensed clinical psychologist and designated forensic psychologist in Massachusetts. Dr. Duggan has authored two books on crisis intervention and empathy. He is the founder and president of the On-Site Academy, a residential trauma treatment and training program for public safety personnel. He has served as a Deputy Fire Chief for the Town of Hubbardston, an EMT-I for the Barre Rescue Squad, and a Chief Psychologist for the Boston police and Boston EMS. He has held positions at Harvard Medical School, McLean Hospital, the Judge Baker Center and the Devereux Center. Dr. Duggan has extensive experience in evaluating and treating adolescents, adults and families. He specializes in trauma, fire-setting, crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment and relationship issues in families of emergency service providers. Dr. Duggan is an instructor for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and an adjunct professor at Anna Maria College. Despite his tremendous knowledge and expertise in the field, Dr. Duggan is down to earth and easy to talk to. He loves teaching and helping others to overcome obstacles and achieve greater well-being.
